It seems like we just had our 20th reunion last year! The time really does fly. I just finished weekend college at Augsburg to obtain my Bachelor's Degree majoring in Special Education with the focus on children with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. So God willing, I will have a teaching job come fall! I have been married for 23 years and have four sons ages 22,19,15,14. The older two attend college at the University of Mn Morris and play football together. I am very proud to say my nineteen year old was named "Miller of the Year" last year at Washburn. Go Millers! The younger two keep me very busy and thank goodness I love sports because that IS our life right now. I am excited to see everyone at the reunion, see you on the 29th.....

Twenty five years and still kicking! For anyone I may have upset in my youth, I am sorry. For all my Washburn friends, please don’t tell my teenagers what we did on weekends. For everyone else, I hope the years have been good for you. After graduating from UW-Madison, I moved to Austin, Texas; got involved in public education; and became a high school math teacher and assistant principal. I went back to graduate school in the early 90’s, received my doctorate in educational administration, and lectured at the University of Texas at Austin. Near the turn of the century, I became an elementary school principal and then a middle school principal. I have been married for 17 years and have two children in high school (my daughter is a junior and my son is a freshman). Thankfully, my daughter is like her mother. My son, on the other hand, is very much like me. I have been my children’s principal for most of their schooling, and they are glad to finally be free from me in high school. After a near drowning experience in 2000 (surprising for a captain of the Miller Swim Team), I have learned that you rarely get a second chance in life, each day is precious, and every encounter a chance to make a difference. I’m sorry that I missed the 25 year reunion. I would love to hear from you if you get a chance. Let’s all see if we can make the 30th reunion!

Oh my God, 25 years! Some of you are getting old! Ha, ha. Well God has been very good to me and my family. We have been living in Colorado for 17 years (as of July, 06) and loving it! I work for one of United Airlines express carriers, Skywest Airlines. My husband, Verdale and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage in December. Between the 2 of us we have 6 children (2 his, 1 hers and 3 ours) and one 1 grandchild. Its really fun being a grandparent to Shaun Xavier 1 1/2 years. We are the proud Pastors of Jireh Advancing Kingdom Ministries in Aurora, Colorado (11 years). Between the two of us we have had the opportunity to travel to Africa, China and all over the Caribbean and of course the US. My family is very excited about the reunion. I am looking forward once again to connect with my school family.

25 years!!! I am so excited to see everyone at the reunion. I missed the 20th because my third baby was due, I wish I could have been there. That tells you a little about me. I went on to college after graduation and after transferring from U of M ended up at UW EauClaire. I swam for their team and graduated with a PE degree. I coached the UW team for 2 years as an assistant and then headed home to MPLS. I was the Head Swim Coach both boys and girls at SLP for 5 years while I pieced together subbing and nanny jobs. For 8 years in the summer I was the Pool Manager at Interlachen Country Club. That leads me to the next chapter, I met my husband(to be) at Interlachen in 93, we married in 95 and moved to Nebraska. Jim, my husband is a golf professional and we went to Nebraska to open a new golf course. We woked together in the golf operations and home operations and had three children in three years. Our next move was to a golf couse on Long Island. It is a strange thing to move to New York following 911, people think you're strange. We are enjoying New York but want to get back to the midwest! After the third baby I started staying home, and love it!! There will be a new adventure next fall when all kids hit school. I am PTO president at our school and volunteer when needed. That's the news! I hope to see everyone in July

Hard to believe that 25 years has gone by! What I have been up to seems pretty uneventful....I graduated from the U of M in 1985 with a degree in history that I don't use in my real life. I got married in 1986 and we are still together after 19 years...no kids, just a very spoiled lab. I do have a 19 year old nephew (my brother Jon's son) so he gets to field my maternal instincts!! In 1996, my husband was injured in a snowmobile accident and became a paraplegic, which has been an interesting journey (to say the least) for the both of us. I am a Project Manager for a performance improvement company (BI) and work with Automotive clients, which is challenging and rewarding as well. I'm looking forward to seeing some faces that I haven't seen in a while at the reunion!

Wow! 25 Years! Well...here goes! After working various jobs after high school (dental assistant, exercise instructor, cafeteria cashier, and accounts receivable clerk) I moved to Louisiana and got married. By our second anniversary we had two kids (we did not waste any time) and my life became a blur of Sesame Street, Rafi, going to the park, and lots of playing. I was very lucky to be able to stay home for the first few years of my kids life. My 30th birthday brought lots of exciting changes! My husband and I separated and I had an incredible opportunity to move to Colorado. The opportunity I went for did not materialize, but a lucky twist of fate (or was it?) I landed a job managing and operating a hair salon. It was an incredible learning experience bringing a business from seriously in the red, to profitability. After two and a half years, it was time to come home. After running a business, coming back proved disappointing. I was lacking a degree, which was the stopping block to getting a good job. So, off to college I went. I attended Cardinal Stritch University full time while I worked full time. It was a challenge, but well worth it. In May 2003 I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. It is one of the accomplishments I am most proud of. I have two incredible kids: Kate (21) and Andrew (20). Kate graduated from Aveda in Esthiology, and is just starting her career.  Andrew is a waiter working at Calhoun Grill and creating a comic strip. He is hoping to go to school for graphic arts soon. He is a very talented artist and I love to see his creations. About 5 years ago I met a wonderful man from Kenya and we fell madly in love. In March 2005, we went to Kenya and I got to meet some of his family. His mom speaks no english, and I speak no swahili, so we did a lot of smiling and nodding. It was unbelieveably beautiful and I can't wait to go back. Planning the reunion is a labor of love for me. I truly hope you can make it - I can't wait to see you all. Keep in touch!

Hello old friends! I am so sorry I missed the reunion this summer! I am very happy living in Sarasota, Florida and having sand under my feet. I still and always will miss Minneapolis - what a wonderful place to grow up. I have 3 wonderful children - Lauren 15, Simon 12 and Hayden Charles 9 years old. I also have a 23 year old step-son who did not relocate with us and is still in Minneapolis (he couldn't leave his girl friend but visits often). I have been working for the Marriott since 1983 in Sales and Catering. I have relocated to Palm Springs, Austin, Texas, West Palm Beach, Florida and now I am a Sales Manager at the Sarasota, Florida location. I don't have the "then" picture so I have inserted some other photo's - enjoy! If your even in town......give me a call. Robyn

Well, where do I start. 25 years seem like yesterday and it seems like an eternity. I went to college/business school for accounting/computers. I worked a couple different companies in what they now call IT, doing implementations of accounting software. At about 22, I got married and after the birth of my first child, was a stay-at-home Mom for her and my other two kids. That first child (Amanda) is now in her first year of college (yikes!). My son Ryan (16) is a junior, and my daughter Angela (14) is a freshman in high school. When I was about 35, my life took a dramatic turn. I got divorced and went back to work after about 12 years of being out of the job force. I got my feet under me and dove out to the job market. After a little time getting my feet wet with temporary work, I got a job with a great company that's been on the rise year after year. My personal life took a turn as well and I met my soul mate (who has two girls 16 and 14, we were a little like the Brady Bunch) and we married in 2001. I had heard that term and never thought that it was real until Tim came into my life. We live out in Farmington in a log home, and here's the funny part. . . my ex-husband lives 1/4 mile down the road and is married to another 1981 classmate. We're all friends and it's a great thing for the kids. I had so much fun at the 20 year and am very much looking forward to the 25 year. Helping Jan on the committee has been fun and she is the ultimate organizer. See you there!
